摘要:A ternary relation B on a set X is said to be betweenness if the following conditions hold:(x,x,y)∈B,(x,z,y)∈B⇒(y,z,x)∈B,(x,z,y)∈B∧z∈x,y⇒(x,y,z)∈/B, (x,z,y)∈B∧(x,w,z)∈B⇒(x,w,y)∈B. In the talk, we consider the linear betweenness relation defined by B=(x,z,y)∈R2×R2×R2:z∈[x,y], where[x,y] denotes the segment joining x and y. Wies law Kubi´s posed the following problem: Let F be a family of subsets of R2. (A) For which pairs A,B∈F does a betweenness isomorphism f:A→B exist? (B) How many betweenness isomorphism classes in F exist, and how can we characterize these classes? We will give a complete answers to this question for F consisting of all pairs of two concentric circles and a partial answer in the case where F consists of all circles with finitely many points inside.
报告人简介:Janusz Morawiec教授,1997年获得波兰Silesia大学博士学位,现于Silesia大学成人动漫研究所工作。他是迭代理论与动力系统领域国际知名专家,是波兰Kuczma学派的活跃人物,在泛函方程和不等式、迭代方程、小波理论等方面做出了非常有影响的工作,目前已在Nonlinear Anal., J. Math. Anal. Appl., Aequationes Math., Result Math. 等国际重要刊物发表成人动漫
论文60余篇。1995年曾获“关于泛函方程和相关主题的最佳波兰论文Kuczma竞赛”一等奖,2006年曾获“第44届泛函方程国际研讨会杰出贡献奖”, 1997年、2006年、2009年、2011、2013、2014和2017年获得Silesia大学校长奖等。
